Experience a floral paradise in the breathtaking Keukenhof Castle gardens this summer! Immerse yourself in a stunning display of vibrant summer flowers, including the magnificent Dahlias.

Meet Daan and Anja, the owners of the flower farm De Tulperij. Admire the beautiful dahlias and other summer flowers in the most beautiful garden and fields of the Dutch Flower Region. Daan, the Dahlia farmer will welcome you on his farm. He’ll guide you through the farm, tells you everything about planting bulbs, the Dahlia garden and will show the beautiful Dahlia garden with thousands and thousands of beautiful flowers.

You can walt through the fields, make great selfies in the CNB summer flower garden. Enjoy the view over this beautiful garden while tasting our tasty apple pie (home made by Anja) with a fresh cup of coffee.

After visiting the flower farm we’ll bring you to the windmill village Warmond. Our boat will sail through our Dutch land. Can you imagine that this will be 5 meters below sea level? You see working windmills. These mills pump out the excess water, so that we will not have a flood.

Intinerary

Begin your day of floral fascination at 10AM from This is Holland, where our coach will take you to the stunning flower farm De Tulperij. You will be welcome by Daan, the flower farmer, and his wife Anja. He will guide you around his farm and share all the details about his work and his flowers. At 12.30PM, after exploring the garden, journey to the picturesque windmill village of Warmond.

Embark on a 60-minute countryside and windmill cruise across the Kagerplassen at 1PM, witnessing the traditional Dutch windmills that protect the land from flooding. Concluding your day at 3PM back in Amsterdam, this tour combines the serene beauty of Holland’s floral marvels with its historic windmill landscapes for a truly unforgettable experience.

Our Hop on Hop off Holland tour to the summer flowers of the flower farm and the windmill cruise departs from This is Holland, Overhoeksplein in Amsterdam. To get to This is Holland, take the free ferry from platform F3 behind Central Station. The ferry shows direction “Buiksloterweg”. It is only a 3-minute ferry ride to the opposite side. When you get off the ferry, turn left. Look up and you will see a round building with the red, white and blue flag of Holland. This building is “This is Holland”. From the ferry, it’s a 3-minute walk. This is Holland is an iconic buiding with a 5D flight experience. By visiting this attraction you can learn the history of Holland while enjoying 4 entertaining shows and experiencing a flight simulation over the country’s must-see locations.
